This laboratory hosts the latest trends including the newest equipment for analog and digital electronics, semiconductors, embedded design and signal processing. Equipment sets are available for the students to perform basic experiments in these courses: Circuit Theory 1 and 2, Semiconductor Devices and Modelling, Electronics 1 and 2, and Digital Design. The lab also is where the senior projects are built and tested.
In EEE laboratory, students are able to get familiar with electronic instrumentation, such as the oscilloscope, power supply, digital multimeter, and function generator.
EEE laboratory is used for experiments to learn the fundamental concepts of electronic circuits. Experiments begin with the analysis and design of electrical networks and progress to courses with experiments using transistors and integrated circuits. Some of the experiments utilize the LabView hardware and software capabilities. Other experiments utilize MATLAB and Electronic Workbench, or P-SPICE simulation software.
